Philip Mulford, founder of Mulford Mediation, has been a professional mediator since 1990. Once a practicing attorney, he gave up a successful law career to pioneer the field of mediation. Specializing in divorce mediation, Philip has helped hundreds of couples successfully resolve custody, visitation, child support, alimony, property division, and financial issues from the simple to the complex. One of the country’s most experienced divorce mediators, Philip is sought out by those seeking to divorce in a civil and cost effective manner as well as those seeking to keep their marriage together. Philip is referred to by professionals in other fields, including attorneys, financial advisors, accountants, doctors, therapists, clergy, and other mediators. Philip has written numerous articles and is a frequent speaker on mediation and marital communication. He is a magna cum laude graduate of Duke University, holds a J.D. from the University of Virginia Law School, and was one of the first mediators certified by the Virginia Supreme Court for both family and civil mediation.

Lisa Mulford is a wife, the mother of two boys, and has been a marketing professional for over 20 years. Over her career Lisa has experienced the challenges and joys of being both a stay-at-home mom and a working mother. As a marketing professional Lisa has worked in the world of newspapers, magazines, software development, and private education. For the past 2 years Lisa has worked full-time with Philip developing Mulford Mediation and his radio talk show Divorce Mediation: Myths and Facts. When not working, raising kids, and juggling the demands of home she’s asleep.
